ADHD Evaluations

Thorough diagnostic evaluations for adult ADHD, including comprehensive assessment of attention, executive function, and related challenges.

ADHD Evaluations

Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder can affect adults across education, work, relationships, and daily life. Our comprehensive adult ADHD evaluations go beyond simple symptom checklists to provide a thorough understanding of each person's attention profile, identify co-occurring conditions, and generate actionable recommendations.

Our Comprehensive Approach

We use a multi-method assessment approach that includes clinical interviews, standardized behavioral rating scales completed by you and, when helpful, by someone who knows you well, continuous performance testing, and a full neuropsychological battery to provide an accurate diagnosis and rule out other conditions that can mimic ADHD.

What We Evaluate

  • Sustained attention and vigilance
  • Working memory
  • Impulse control and inhibition
  • Executive function skills (planning, organization, time management)
  • Academic or occupational impact
  • Co-occurring conditions (anxiety, depression, learning differences, sleep, trauma)
  • Effort and validity indicators

Adult ADHD Evaluation Focus

We evaluate adults and college or graduate students for ADHD. Adult ADHD evaluations specifically address how symptoms impact work performance, relationships, academic demands, financial management, and daily functioning. We also clarify whether symptoms may be better explained by sleep, mood, trauma, medical issues, or other cognitive factors.

Accommodations Documentation

Our evaluations provide the documentation needed to request accommodations in college, graduate school, professional licensing exams, and workplace settings when appropriate. We write accommodation letters tailored to each institution's specific requirements.

Following Your Evaluation

Our detailed report includes diagnosis, differential diagnosis considerations, specific recommendations for accommodations, evidence-based intervention strategies, and guidance for treatment planning including medication management referrals if appropriate.
